Another college project (and last post for the night I swear!).

We had to re-vamp Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira and this was my take on it - make them hackers in a futuristic world.

Edit: I'm not sure why these uploads became saturated in highlighter colors...

30 Day Monster Girl Challenge: Days 1-3

So this prompt appeared on Tumblr one day and my friend and I decided to give it a shot.

Unfortunately we were also backed up with graduating work so we decided to do this whenever we had a chance or needed a break from school. I only managed to get three days in, but I'd like to continue now that I have the time.

Vita Character Sheets

So this is a project I worked on during my time at AICAOC and re-worked for my graduating portfolio. These characters and designs have changes so many times, I'm surprised my head hasn't exploded from staring at them for so long haha.

I also modeled Vita and my friend has recently finished her rig - I'll be able to post a video of some rough animation tomorrow.

Blog revamp + Banner

A couple of hours later, and this blog is ready to go!

I'm happy, it looks real pretty~

The banner is a smaller piece of something I did back in September, entitled Creation.

A lot of my personal works are inspired by music or people important to me; this one comes from GACKT's Freesia ~Op. 2~

The title reflects my thoughts during this instrumental piece; from a single drop of light, an idea forms. It becomes a painting, a story, a dream, a universe. The girl acts as a protector, a guardian, a mix of Mother Nature and an other-worldly force that nurtures these sparks of life until they are ready to bloom.

Major re-haul

Whew, it's been a while since I've used this account!

Now that house renovations are slowly finishing, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, mainly being active with blogs and posting artwork. I'm pretty horrible at uploading photos as it is, but I'm feeling really motivated to keep this going for the long haul. It's a lot easier posting updates to work here anyway than it would be to the portfolio site (that thing is kind of a nightmare to tackle...)

Long story short, expect this place to be prettied up and active very soon.
